We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what data Wax Lab stores, how it is used, and where it lives.

1. Data We Collect

Wax Lab does not transmit any data to external servers. All data is stored exclusively on your device.

The app stores locally:

• Session state — selected wax type, calculator settings, recipe progress
• Candle journal — entries you create (name, scent, parameters, notes)
• Candle photos — stored in the app's private folder on your device
• Onboarding flags — whether you have completed the welcome screen
• Purchase status — cached info about Wax Lab Pro (source of truth is Apple)

2. Notifications

The app requests permission to send local notifications to remind you when your candle is ready after the curing period.

• Notifications are generated on-device, not from a server
• We do not track whether you open notifications
• You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings
